His three-year Podiatric Surgical residency was completed at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, PA. He is the Residency Director for the Residency Program in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

He has published literature in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as been featured in Men's Health, Competitor Magazine, Natural Born Runner, and many other periodicals and books on running.
